Easily one of the best i’ve picked up. I love the fact that this obviously wasn’t posted, it was just put through the letterbox as a note, or just dropped off. I also like how free it is, no regard for the lines of the typical postcard, just needing more space, so writing diagonal was the obvious option. I love that it hasn’t changed at all. It was amongst a pile of other books and files and the stamp caught my eye. <br/>The front image is of the beach in Cayeux, I think in 1955, (the date on the back post stamp). <br/>I love the handwriting on this card, and the fact that it’s some type of holiday postcard. This card shows how little the small french town changes as well, it’s exactly the same! I really love that.
